IV Therapy FAQs

How does IV therapy work?
IV therapy is an effective method of delivering and absorbing key nutrients through a vein. Since the gastrointestinal tract is bypassed, these nutrients are 100% absorbable via the bloodstream and can be used by the body immediately.
Why would I need IV therapy?
While a diet in natural foods is key for optimal health, this is difficult to achieve due to poor farming practices (micronutrient depletion, declining soil mineral content, and toxic chemicals) in the USA. On top of that, many people may also have poor absorption of oral nutrients due to gastrointestinal problems, medications, and other chronic illnesses (usually 40% or less). To combat this decreased absorption and give our body’s what they really need, IV therapy can provide 100% nutrient absorption.
How often should I get IV infusions nutrient therapy?
This depends on the illness or condition we are trying to alleviate. Some patients find multiple infusions per week work best, while others come in much less frequently. Benefits can be seen after the first session and may continue to improve with regular treatments.
How much do IV therapy treatments cost?

Are IV Infusions nutrients well tolerated?
Yes! For the vast majority of patients, the worst that will happen is temporary discomfort from placing the IV. If patients have allergies to oral vitamins, most tolerate those same vitamins via IV without problems.
How much down time should I expect?
None. You can return to normal activity after the treatment.
How long does it take to notice a difference?
The effects will be immediate, but will further improve within 24 hours of the treatment. The effects may last anywhere between 1-3 weeks, depending on the infusion.
Will I experience any pain during the treatment?
For the vast majority of patients, the worst that will happen is temporary discomfort from placing the IV.
How long does the process take?
IV therapy usually lasts about an hour.

Do you accept insurance or HSAs?
We do not work with any insurance group.
However, we do accept HSA and FSA Cards for covered health services (mostly services that aren’t cosmetic but check with your plan first!)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Do I need to schedule an in-office visit or do you offer virtual visits?
Depending on the service, we can do both.

We are happy to invite you to our office located in Millcreek, UT for your initial consultation OR we can schedule a virtual visit.

Certain services are available virtually, and some follow ups can be conducted virtually as well.
